Kathina Ceremony at Wat Prayong Gittivararam

Schedule of the Kathina Ceremony

 9.00h         Phra Acharn Phet, Phra Acharn Dag and Mae Chee Brigitte will come out of the 3 months intensive Retreat. They started the Retreat on July 31^st 19h and stayed in intensive practice (without talking or leaving their room) until 24^th October 9h morning.

Phra Acharn Phet will receive alms food. This is a great opportunity to make merit!!!

Please bring only dry food like raw rice, fish cans or instant noodles, sugar etc. as Acharn Phet will offer all the received food to an orphanage in the north of Thailand. This orphanage takes care of 700 orphans and was built by Phra Acharn Phet last year.

Everyone is welcome to bring dry food or donations to put in his alms bowl.

11.00h       Offering Meal to the Sangha

12.00h       Phra Acharn Phet will inaugurate the first pillar of the Uposatha Hall.

After "Thot Kathin” (The Kathina Robe and donations will be offered)

There will be lots of food stores giving all kinds of delicious Thai and Western food for free.
